Key Responsibilities
Marketing Budget & Annual Planning
- Prepare annual brand-wise and territory-wise marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets for existing and new products.
- Create annual calendars for conferences, CMEs, and promotional activities.
- Design promogrid and promotional strategies for effective product promotion.
- Develop short-term and long-term portfolio strategies.
Brand Management & Strategy
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for effective product placement and market penetration.
- Analyze competitor strategies and convert insights into actionable product tactics.
- Align brand strategies with sales objectives and monitor field implementation.
- Ensure timely development and dispatch of promotional materials and collaterals.
- Conduct cycle meetings to communicate brand positioning and product updates to sales teams.
- Monitor ROI through prescription growth, revenue trends, and market surveys.
- Achieve targeted market share for focused products and overall portfolio.
KOL & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ophthalmologists, KOLs, and key business leaders.
- Develop differentiated engagement strategies for KOL and KBL partnerships.
- Expand and maintain active KOL databases.
Product Performance & Forecasting
- Prepare monthly product performance analysis with actionable insights.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to ensure optimum production and stock levels.
- Track KPIs including primary sales, secondary sales, and promotional effectiveness.
New Product Launches
- Collaborate with Business Development for new product selection.
- Develop launch strategies, brand positioning, and go-to-market plans.
- Ensure successful and timely product launches with strong market penetration.
Training & Field Force Effectiveness
- Train field force during product launches, cycle meetings, and marketing programs.
- Enhance quality of sales calls through structured marketing support.
- Monitor field execution and implement corrective measures where required.
People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
- Drive performance culture and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement effective control systems and team optimization practices.
