About us

NxtPe builds NxtStack, a B2B/B2B2C fintech platform used by insurers, lenders, fund managers, banks, and telecoms across Sub Saharan Africa. Four products: NxtCollect (payments and collections), NxtEngage (customer engagement), NxtGrowth (distribution), NxtForce (agent AI). Headquartered in DIFC, Dubai; operations run out of East Africa, tech teams based in India.

What you'll do

• Own a product end-to-end — decide what ships, what doesn't, and why
• Live in the funnel: mandate success rates, collection recovery, drop-offs, activation. Find the leak, trace it to root cause, fix it
• Talk to users and merchants directly — calls, email, WhatsApp. Not through a research team
• Write specs engineers respect; run UAT and testing yourself before release
• Report product performance weekly, with numbers you can defend
• Work with partners and regulators where the product meets the market

What we're looking for

• Ability to derive insight from behavioural data — you can size a market, structure an estimate, and reason from a funnel to a hypothesis without a dashboard handing you the answer
• Hustle — resourceful, gets things done, sources your own problems. You don't wait to be assigned work
• Product fundamentals — you can say why the PM role exists and what breaks without it
• Engineering or analytics background helpful, not required. Comfort with AI tooling expected — but you own every number it produces

How we hire

15-minute HR screen → founder round → 24-hour take-home assignment → assignment defense. In the defense you'll be asked to re-derive your own numbers without your document open. Use whatever tools you like to build it; be able to stand behind every line.

Honest expectations

Small team, hybrid, more than full-time — evenings and some weekends happen. You'll get unusual ownership early and no one telling you what to do next. That suits some people and not others; we'd rather you know now.
