About the Role

The role requires strong expertise in pharmaceutical product management, promotional strategy development, medical content creation, field coordination, and training support for sales and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate should possess strong pharmaceutical product knowledge, market understanding, and the ability to create impactful promotional campaigns and scientific marketing content for medicines and healthcare products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product promotional strategies for pharmaceutical products and medicine portfolios.
  • Create marketing plans and brand-building activities for assigned products.
  • Prepare scientific and promotional content for medicines, product launches, visual aids, brochures, leave-behinds, and digital campaigns.
  • Develop detailed product literature and marketing communication materials.
  • Conduct product training programs for sales teams, medical representatives, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate closely with field sales and marketing teams to understand market feedback and competitor activities.
  • Travel along with field teams to support product promotion and market development activities.
  • Plan and execute product campaigns, doctor engagement programs, CMEs, and promotional initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance, prescription trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance(eg, OPPI, FDA, or local drug control guidelines) in all promotional and training materials.
  • Support new product launches, positioning strategies, and lifecycle management.
  • Work with manufacturing, regulatory, sales, and management teams for effective product planning and execution.
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports, product analysis, and campaign effectiveness reports.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical formulations, therapy segments, and medicine positioning.
  • Expertise in pharmaceutical product management and brand promotion.
  • Strong content writing skills for pharmaceutical and medical products.
  • Ability to create scientifically accurate promotional materials and training content.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in conducting product training sessions and field coaching programs.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing strategies, branding, and prescription generation activities.
  • Good exposure to market analysis, competitor tracking, and product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with sales and field marketing teams.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and execution capabilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Education: M.Pharm/ B.Pharm / B SC ( Life Sciences/ Biotech). An MBA (Marketing) will be an advantage..
  • Experience: 3- 8yrs years in Pharmaceutical Product Management.
  • Prior experience in reputed pharmaceutical companies is mandatory.
  • Experience in branded formulations and private label pharmaceutical products is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for field work and market activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
