About This Role
Kapiva's BizTech pod is building a set of AI-native products that sit at the intersection of marketing intelligence, operational automation and scalable infrastructure. This role owns that entire surface - from defining what gets built to ensuring it works reliably for non-technical users across marketing, finance, customer success, R&D and operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Marketing Intelligence
- Build the intelligence layer that aggregates signals from customer support, consultations, reviews, consumer calls and social — surfacing content gaps, product feedback themes, and demand signals the marketing and product teams can act on
- Own the AI creative generation tool, connecting performance data to automated script and creative iteration
- Define quality and evaluation frameworks for all AI products — accuracy metrics, hallucination monitoring, AI vs human performance benchmarks
2. Commerce & Ops Automation
- Own AI automation across customer-facing workflows — ticket categorisation, smart routing, response suggestions, automated calls
- Drive automation for high-friction internal workflows across finance, legal, R&D and ops: reconciliation, refund processing, vendor invoice management, supply chain management
- Own admin control panels and internal dashboards for business teams
3. Internal Platform Management
- Own the internal CRM layer — health coach workflows, CS case management, CRM journeys, and customer segmentation
- Manage third-party platform integrations, developments, and dependencies across customer engagement, marketing automation, and order management
4. Data Infrastructure
- Manage the CDP data layer — customer data structure, enrichment, and CRM integrations
- Work with platform and devops teams to maintain the underlying data product and analytics pipeline
Requirements
Essential
- 5–7 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years building AI or data-powered products
- Hands-on experience with NLP, text analytics, or conversational AI — able to define quality benchmarks, not just write specs
- Experience owning internal platforms, CRM/ERP, or B2B SaaS builds — including build-vs-buy decisions
- Strong grasp of integrations work — API contracts, data modeling, cross-system workflows
- Ability to translate operational pain from non-technical stakeholders into scoped product requirements
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho
- Exposure to marketing tech: feed management, audience tooling, or creative automation
- Experience shipping AI-assisted internal workflows, not just using AI tools
- Prior work in D2C, health-tech, or consumer brands with ops efficiency
Working Style
- Comfortable driving the pod's roadmap independently, with limited top-down direction
- Outcome-oriented — more interested in measurable impact (cost saved, tickets reduced, hours freed) than feature output
- Able to hold credible conversations with finance, ops, and compliance stakeholders
What Success Looks Like
- Operational efficiency improves measurably. Internal teams spend less time on manual, repetitive workflows.
- AI products ship with a defined quality bar and are measured in production.
- Marketing gets a better signal. The marketing team makes creative and targeting decisions backed by customer intelligence from across the business.
- Cost of running internal operations comes down. Savings are visible and attributable.
- The product and engineering team is not a bottleneck for internal stakeholders. Teams across finance, operations, and customer success can execute without waiting on engineering for routine changes.
