As a Product Manager, you will lead the execution of the company's product strategy to drive business growth. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales. You will be responsible for ensuring product portfolio alignment with market trends - gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and managing product related projects, in line with the company objectives, ultimately contributing to company's competitive advantage and customer satisfaction. These projects include new product introductions, product enhancements, modifications, and phase-out strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Conducting market study to gather insights about customers requirements and analyse the findings to identify opportunities for product offerings in the market
• Defining, planning, and managing product enhancement/development projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, manufacturing, and sales ensuring the project budget and timeline adherence.
• Managing the product lifecycle, including product enhancements, modifications, and phase-out strategies, to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Defining product positioning, placement, and pricing strategies based on market insights.
• Supporting marketing team to create product messaging, collateral, and product training content for sales teams and customers to ensure a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, and applications.
• Analysing product performance metrics, such as sales revenue, profit margins, market share, and customer satisfaction, to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement
• Providing regular reports and presentations to senior management on product performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations

Budget: INR 15.00 LPA (MAX)

About You- To be successful in this role you will have:

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree holder in mechanical engineering with proven academic excellence.

• MBA or Certifications in Project Management/Product Management is a plus

• 2-8 years of extensive experience in a BI Engineer/Developer role with proved proficiency
• Previous experience in product development, product management, project management or a related role
• Experience in planning and managing projects requiring working in cross-functional teams such as, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
• Strong understanding of automotive market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape is a plus.
• Strong English verbal and written skills
• Excellent programming and analytical skills, precise, results-oriented, and well-structured

Technical Skills:

• Inclination towards in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of the products.
• Excellent analytical skills to analyse data to make informed decisions about product features, market fit, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word for data analysis, modelling, and reporting purposes.

Soft Skills:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with customers
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and meet dead lines.

Language:

• Good written and spoken English is essential
