Role: Product Manager – Equity
Experience: 8-10 Years
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Manager – Equity to drive the growth and development of our Equity business. The role requires a strong understanding of equity markets, customer behaviour, product strategy and business execution.
The ideal candidate should be able to identify market opportunities, develop differentiated product propositions, enhance customer experience and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption, client engagement, revenue and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive client acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and revenue.
- Identify market opportunities through competitor benchmarking, customer insights, industry trends and market developments.
- Own the product roadmap and work closely with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Research, Marketing and Sales teams to deliver product enhancements and new initiatives.
- Conceptualize and launch new equity products, features, pricing initiatives, campaigns and value propositions to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
- Coordinate product launches and ensure successful implementation across digital and distribution channels.
- Work closely with branch, sales and digital distribution teams to improve product penetration, customer activation and engagement.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive alignment across teams for successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Desired Skills
- Good knowledge of stock exchanges, trading platforms, brokerage models, margin framework and market participants.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret business, customer and product data.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and convert market opportunities into business initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in managing equity products/businesses and driving revenue and customer growth preferred.
