Job Description

  • Develop marketing plan & strategy for products/product categories.
  • Monitor industry, market, and competitive trends for the concerned product category through formal market research and networking (competitor product performance, pricing, promotions schemes, and new product introductions)
  • Identify new market segments and formulate marketing plans for the same through due market research in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Develop new product launch strategies and ensure seamless implementation of product launch activities, in collaboration with Product Development, Field Sales, and Marketing team (for example, pre-launch activities, coverage plan, roll out of launch activities, follow-up actions, and post-launch activities).
  • Collaborate with the Sales team and other stakeholders to support Sales & product forecasts.
  • Ensure PLC Management.
  • Review and improvise on brand communication including key message points, USPs, regional strategies, and product stewardship with the support of concerned stakeholders (e.g. sales teams & field marketing).
  • Provide technical inputs on the Product to Field Marketing managers and the Sales team.
  • Prepare Product and crop Training Modules with support from concerned stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement sales promotion schemes & campaigns for the product/product categories, in collaboration with the Sales and field marketing team (for example, product incentives, product discounts, and special offers, crop and product campaigns)
  • Provide feedback to Product Development on new products / new business opportunities, based on market feedback, competitor intelligence, etc.

Who are we looking for

Education:

  • B.Sc(Agri) /M.Sc(Agri ) and MBA with specialization in Marketing/Agribusiness.

Experience:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience with exposure in sales and product Management roles.
