Product Manager – FinTech
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, product innovation, and digital financial solutions within CarTrade Tech Labs. This role requires a strong understanding of FinTech ecosystems, customer / dealer / operational journeys, payments and financial products, along with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive ideas from concept to scale.
The individual will work closely with Engineering, Business, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and external partners to build scalable and customer-centric FinTech products. The role will also leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI capabilities to enhance financial workflows, improve decision-making, drive automation, and unlock new growth opportunities.

What you'll be doing :
- Be a part of the end-to-end product development lifecycle for FinTech products and initiatives, across internal / dealer / consumer workflows.
- Drive product strategy and execution across areas such as:
- Payments
- Lending
- Financial services
- Dealer financing
- Subscription and monetization products
- Wallets/payment integrations
- Risk and fraud management
- Conduct market analysis, customer research, competitor benchmarking, and ecosystem studies to identify growth opportunities and customer pain points.
- Develop and clearly communicate product roadmaps, business objectives, prioritization frameworks, and growth strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Business teams to conceptualize, build, test, and launch scalable FinTech solutions.
- Work with external banking, payment gateway, NBFC, and financial ecosystem partners to enable seamless financial integrations and customer experiences.
- Ensure products are aligned with regulatory, compliance, security, and risk management requirements.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML and Generative AI into FinTech workflows, including:
- Fraud detection
- Risk scoring
- Personalization
- Customer support automation
- Financial insights
- Operational automation
- Work with Engineering and Data teams to conceptualize and scale AI-driven financial product features and automation use cases.
- Stay updated on emerging FinTech trends, digital payment ecosystems, AI innovations, regulatory developments, and evolving customer behaviors.
Who We are looking for
- Post graduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management with exposure to FinTech, Payments, Lending, Financial Services, or Transactional Platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, lending/general processes and workflows, internal, dealer and customer-facing financial products and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive product decisions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Passion for technology, digital financial ecosystems, and emerging FinTech trends.
- Hands-on experience in Agile product development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, or data-driven product initiatives is preferred.
- Understanding of business process management, fraud systems, risk management, compliance workflows, payment gateways, or financial integrations will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms, experimentation frameworks, AI-assisted workflows, or LLM-based applications is a plus.
