Job Description

Role: Product Manager - Events & IP

Experience: 4–7 Years

Location: Mumbai (onsite role)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused professional to support product development, communication, and campaign execution across The Economic Times events portfolio

The role will work closely with senior stakeholders across product, marketing, sales, and operations to translate event concepts into well-executed campaigns and deliverables.

This position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of media and event ecosystems, with a focus on ensuring high-quality and timely output across campaigns and event-related communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product & IP Support

  • Support the development of event concepts, themes, and session structures.
  • Assist in creating event notes, agendas, and supporting documents.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure clarity and consistency in event positioning and messaging.
  • Track industry trends and support research for new IP ideas and formats.

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Work with marketing teams to plan and execute print and digital campaigns for events.
  • Prepare detailed campaign briefs for creative and digital agencies.
  • Coordinate with agencies to ensure timely delivery of creatives and campaign assets.
  • Track campaign timelines and ensure alignment with event milestones.

Agency Management & Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact for creative and digital agencies on day-to-day execution.
  • Follow up to ensure on-time delivery and quality of outputs.
  • Review creatives and provide basic feedback aligned to brand and campaign objectives.
  • Ensure all deliverables are consistent with ET brand guidelines and event positioning.

Media Planning & Performance Tracking

  • Support in media planning and execution across digital and print channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance including reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to track and optimise campaign performance.
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries on campaign effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with product, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support in aligning campaigns, sponsor deliverables, and event timelines.
  • Assist in post-event analysis including campaign performance and audience insights.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4–7 years of experience in media, marketing, or events.
  • Hands-on experience in campaign execution, agency coordination, and content development.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, media planning, and performance metrics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and execution rigour.
