About the Role
We are hiring a highly hands-on Product Manager (Event Tech) who combines product thinking, software development skills, and strong expertise in AI tools.
The ideal candidate should be capable of:
- Building product strategy
- Writing/understanding code
- Using AI tools to speed up development, design, analytics, and product execution
This is a builder role, not just a management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product roadmap and drive end-to-end execution for Event Tech platforms.
- Actively contribute to system design, architecture discussions, and technical decisions.
- Use AI tools to accelerate:
- Product research
- Feature design
- Code generation & debugging
- Documentation
- Data analysis
- Build or prototype features when required (MVPs, integrations, automation tools).
- Work on core Event Tech modules:
- Event registration & ticketing systems
- QR-based check-in systems
- Live event dashboards
- Networking & matchmaking features
- Analytics & reporting systems
- Collaborate with engineering team in agile development cycles.
- Review code, APIs, and ensure scalable architecture.
- Convert business requirements into technical PRDs and user stories.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–7 years experience in Product Management + Software Development.
- Strong hands-on experience in one or more:
- Frontend (React / Angular / Vue)
- Backend (Node.js / Python / Java / PHP)
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and system design basics.
- Expert-level use of AI tools, such as:
- ChatGPT / GPT-based tools
- GitHub Copilot
- Cursor / AI IDEs
- AI design tools (Figma AI, etc.)
- Automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.)
- Experience using AI for:
- Writing production-ready code
- Debugging & optimization
- Data analysis & insights
- Product documentation & PRDs
- Strong analytical and execution mindset.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Good to Have
- Experience in Event Tech / SaaS / Marketplace platforms.
- Knowledge of real-time systems (notifications, chat, live updates).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).
- Startup experience with fast iteration cycles.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (not mandatory, but preferred).
