We're a seed funded stealth startup building in the intersection of AI and Securities market. We are based in Koramangala, Bangalore. Our founders have 50+ years of experience in Software and Financial Services and have built and sold software product companies before (repeat entrepreneurs). We are looking for a finance domain analyst who can evaluate how well our AI models understand and interpret financial data someone who loves markets, enjoys research, and has a keen eye for analytical accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess AI-generated equity research summaries, reports, and insights for factual accuracy and reasoning.
- Compare AI outputs against company filings, analyst reports, and market data to identify gaps or errors.
- Help build internal evaluation frameworks (AI evals) to measure financial understanding and analysis quality.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune prompts and model behaviours based on your financial feedback.
- Track key company and sector metrics, valuations, and earnings trends across Indian and global markets.
- Document your findings, examples, and improvement ideas in structured formats for product training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Economics (B.Com (Hons), MBA (Finance), CFA Level 1, or NISM graduate preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or related internship.
- Strong understanding of balance sheets, P&L, valuation ratios, and basic market analytics.
- Excellent written English and ability to interpret financial narratives clearly.
- Curiosity to explore how AI interprets financial data and to contribute to product improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience with any research or FinTech tools (e.g., CMIE, CapitalIQ, Tickertape, or Bloomberg).
- Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or Python for basic data analysis.
- Exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini for analytical tasks.
- Certification from NISM, CFA Institute, or BSE/NSE Academy.
