We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join our Global B2B eCommerce team. In this role, you will act as a technical platform owner for our enterprise-scale eCommerce solution, working closely with U.S.-based product, engineering, and business teams to deliver impactful digital commerce capabilities.
This role combines technical product management expertise with platform stewardship, ensuring our eCommerce platform is reliable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise strategy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical product owner for the B2B eCommerce platform, translating business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical features and deliver them in a timely manner
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global platform strategies
- Work closely with enterprise architects and engineering teams to design and deliver integrations with backend systems (ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM)
- Facilitate communication and alignment between India and U.S. teams to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery
- Provide technical guidance on platform scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices
- Monitor platform health, identify risks, and lead efforts to resolve technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Stay current with eCommerce trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, proactively recommending innovative solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in technical product management, including ownership of enterprise-scale digital platforms
- Strong understanding of B2B eCommerce platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris, Salesforce Commerce, Adobe Commerce)
- Familiarity with API-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive cross-team delivery
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams
