About the Role

Product Manager Digital Savings Account , will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the digital customer journey for savings account products. Based in Mumbai, this role sits within the Retail Liabilities function of Retail Banking and involves close collaboration with product managers, journey heads, developers, and business teams. This role will be responsible for translating business requirements into innovative digital solutions, driving product development, and optimizing customer experience through data-driven insights and cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and journey heads to design and deliver functional and solution documentation, including gap analyses and specifications.
  • Act as a bridge between business teams and developers to translate business requirements into product features.
  • Prioritize journey features based on business impact and feasibility and define monthly release plans.
  • Provide technical expertise across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct technical analysis of proposed solutions and recommend optimal technologies and architectures.
  • Create both high-level and detailed mock-ups of customer journeys.
  • Drive innovation by scanning market trends, competitor offerings, and fintech developments to ensure best-in-class digital experiences.
  • Deliver internal presentations to explain use cases, data flows, and interface design benefits.
  • Continuously develop fresh and engaging designs for digital products and customer journeys.
  • Gather and analyze data to recommend improvements in customer journeys.
  • Monitor API performance using tools like Grafana and implement performance optimization strategies.
  • Use analytical tools to generate business reports and benchmark journey performance against competitors.
  • Generate and manage data for training and testing machine learning models.
  • Produce performance reports for ML models and optimize input parameters for improved outcomes.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional teams with insights and documentation to ensure seamless implementation of digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to enhance product intelligence and personalization.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Any discipline (Full-Time)
  • Postgraduation: MBA / PGDM (Preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, preferably in digital banking or fintech environments.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of digital product development and customer journey design.
  • Technical proficiency in solution architecture, API performance monitoring, and data analytics.
  • Experience with tools like Grafana and machine learning model optimization.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and user-centric designs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for enhancing digital customer experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with benchmarking and reporting tools.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams and functions.
