About Delegenix
Delegenix is an early-stage company building AI workers that help businesses get work done. By combining company knowledge, business rules, and integrations with existing applications, Delegenix enables AI workers to investigate requests, take approved actions, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Our focus is on practical automation across functions such as finance, sales, customer success, engineering, and operations.
About the Role
We are looking for a resourceful, hands-on Product Manager to establish our product management function and help shape what we build.
As Delegenix's first and sole Product Manager, you will work directly with the founder and a small engineering team, taking ownership from customer discovery and prioritization through development, launch, and improvement. You will receive strategic direction and periodic guidance, while independently driving day-to-day product work.
This role suits someone who is intrinsically motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to turn an initial idea or loosely defined business problem into a clear, practical solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customers and their workflows: Speak directly with prospective customers and users to identify recurring problems, understand existing processes, and validate where AI and automation can provide meaningful value.
- Shape product priorities: Translate the company's direction and customer insights into a focused roadmap and actionable backlog. Make clear recommendations about what to build, defer, or simplify based on customer value, technical feasibility, and available capacity.
- Define requirements and experiences: Create concise product requirement documents, user stories, workflow maps, wireframes, and acceptance criteria. Specify business rules, exceptions, approval steps, and expected outcomes.
- Drive execution with engineering: Work closely with engineers to discuss feasibility, clarify requirements, manage scope, resolve open questions, and keep delivery moving.
- Validate functionality and AI outputs: Own product acceptance testing, document issues, and verify fixes. Define how AI workers should behave, when human approval is needed, and how successful task completion should be assessed.
- Support launches and adoption: Prepare product demonstrations, onboarding materials, release notes, and user documentation. Work with the founder on positioning and communication for early customers.
- Measure and improve: Establish practical measures of adoption, task completion, output quality, time saved, and customer satisfaction. Use findings to improve the product.
- Build the product function: Introduce lightweight practices for discovery, prioritization, documentation, feedback collection, and release planning that suit a small team.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 2 years of hands-on product management experience in software products, with examples of features or products taken from problem definition to release.
- Demonstrated ability to own work independently, make reasoned decisions, and follow through without frequent supervision.
- Strong product judgment: able to distinguish a genuine customer problem from a feature request and define a manageable first version of a solution.
- Ability to conduct customer conversations, map workflows, and translate findings into clear requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including clear product documentation and effective discussions with technical and business audiences.
- Working understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and cloud applications sufficient to discuss requirements and trade-offs with engineers.
- Practical understanding of AI tools and their limitations, including the need to validate outputs and define appropriate human oversight.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and comfort using product data and customer feedback to make decisions.
- A self-directed working style, curiosity, and willingness to learn unfamiliar business domains.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an early-stage startup or helping build a product from an initial concept.
- Exposure to B2B software, workflow automation, AI products, or products involving third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools, product analytics, SQL, or low-code tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience. An MBA is not required.
What Success Looks Like
You establish a clear understanding of priority customer problems, maintain a focused roadmap, and help the engineering team deliver useful, well-defined solutions. Early customer feedback translates into visible improvements, and the product function operates reliably without requiring the founder to coordinate every detail.
Why Join Delegenix

- Work directly with the founder and engineers, with meaningful ownership of decisions and outcomes.
- Build practical AI solutions and see their impact on real business workflows.
