About the Role
The
Product Manager – Business Banking will be responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing the suite of products and services offered to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and lifecycle management of business banking products. Based in Mumbai, the Product Manager will play a key role in driving innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting revenue growth through customer-centric product development.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps for the Business Banking segment.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer needs and industry trends in the SME space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, launch, and enhance products.
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements and maintain competitive advantage.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including sales teams, customers, and partners.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Train and educate sales teams on product features and benefits to drive adoption and revenue.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify market opportunities and threats.
- Develop and manage product budgets and forecasts.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field (Full-Time)
- Postgraduation: MBA (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in product management, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing business banking products.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of the SME market and business lending products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for banking products is a plus.
- Fluent in English with strong business communication skills.
