Product Manager

About the Role

As a Product Manager, you will drive the success of tax and finance technology products throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans. Your expertise in tax compliance, finance workflows, and emerging technologies will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative, customer-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and vision based on market research, customer insights, and business objectives.
• Identify market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and drive product innovation and differentiation.
• Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, and engineering teams, to gather and document product requirements.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications with precision.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
• Facilitate effective communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment across all functions.
• Lead agile development processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
• Drive iterative product improvements through collaboration with development teams.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, collaborating with marketing and sales teams on messaging, positioning, pricing, and sales enablement.
• Coordinate successful product launches to ensure widespread adoption.
• Monitor product performance metrics, analyze customer feedback, and assess market trends.
• Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
• Act as the voice of the customer, conducting user research and advocating for customer-centric product decisions.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in product management roles, preferably within tax, finance technology, or SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record in launching and scaling complex, regulated technology products.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance systems and finance workflows.
• Proficiency in product management tools, user story mapping, and prototyping.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI, IoT, or automation technologies within the tax or finance domain.
