THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role. You will take full accountability for the business outcomes of a specific customer segment - revenue growth, retention, product adoption, customer-facing TAT - for a vertical like concrete subcontractors or utility suppliers. You'll set the product vision for your segment, define what gets built and why, and track whether it's moving the needle.
You'll work closely with an Associate Product Manager who you'll coach and develop, as well as with engineering, design, sales, and customer success. You'll be expected to go deep on customer understanding and be the person in the room who knows your segment better than anyone.
Title and seniority will be determined based on your experience.
What You'll Own
- Business outcomes: Revenue and retention outcomes for your assigned customer segment, measured by ARR, churn, adoption, and customer-facing TAT metrics
- Roadmap: A product roadmap grounded in deep customer insight, competitive awareness, and business priorities
- End-to-end delivery: The full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through to launch and iteration
- APM mentorship: An Associate PM who you will guide, challenge, and develop into an increasingly independent contributor
- Stakeholder alignment: Regular communication with leadership on product performance, key bets, and risks
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research to understand your customers workflows, pain points, and goals
- Develop product hypotheses and iterate on them through rapid discovery with customers and internal teams
- Write clear, well-reasoned PRDs and work with design to define intuitive UX/UI
- Partner with engineering to ship product efficiently, removing blockers and making smart trade-offs
- Set up feedback loops - product analytics, in-app surveys, user interviews - and use what you learn to sharpen the roadmap
- Track segment-level business metrics and take ownership of explaining and improving them
- Mentor your APM with regular feedback, increasing ownership, and clear development goals
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in a PM or APM role at a SaaS or product-led tech company
- Demonstrated ownership of product outcomes, not just features
- Strong structured thinking: you break down complex problems clearly and build crisp customer journey maps
- Comfort with data - SQL, Excel, or product analytics tools like PostHog - to self-serve insights
- Ability to create wireframes in Figma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Experience managing or mentoring junior PMs is a plus
- Background in construction, infrastructure, or field-service industries is a plus
