Product Manager at Glowvista Instruments

Based at NIT Rourkela, we are a startup dedicated to developing cutting-edge point-of-care instrumentation that brings lab-grade precision to the field. We are looking for a visionary Product Manager to lead the development of our project: an automated Imaging Flow Cytometer for biomedical screening and diagnosis.

As a Product Manager, you will be the bridge between complex engineering and real-world healthcare impact. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will:

• Drive the Roadmap: Define goals, manage timelines, and ensure key deliverables for our indigenous microscopic and cytometric systems.
• Bridge Tech & Strategy: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to keep Glowvista at the forefront of the MedTech industry.
• Coordinate Execution: Lead cross-functional efforts, from data analysis and report writing to assisting in the physical design and development of the system.
• Engage Stakeholders: Communicate our vision across various platforms and align our product with the needs of healthcare providers.

We are looking for a unique blend of a researcher's mind and a manager's grit.

• Educational Background: M.Tech (Biomedical, ECE, Engineering Physics, Mechanical) or M.Sc (Physics, Nanoscience, Electronics) with a strong B.Tech/B.E. foundation.
• Domain Expertise: A deep interest and background in instrumentation (preferred in Optics and Applied Physics) for biomedical applications.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in data interpretation and statistical software (e.g., R or SPSS).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills—you can explain complex optics to an investor and a design flaw to an engineer with equal clarity.
• Mindset: Independent, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced R&D environment.
