Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile Product Manager + Business Analyst to join our development team. You will be responsible for defining the What and the Why (PM) while meticulously documenting the How (BA). You will translate complex stakeholder requirements into actionable technical specifications, ensuring that every sprint delivers maximum value to the end user.
In this hybrid role, you won't just define the product vision; you'll roll up your sleeves to write the user stories and flowcharts that make that vision a reality. You are the vital link between our clients business goals and our engineering team's execution.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management (The Strategy)
- Roadmap Ownership: Define the product vision and maintain a prioritized 36 month roadmap.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients to manage expectations and secure approvals.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends and competitor products to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Go-to-Market (GTM): Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to plan product launches and feature updates.
Business Analysis (The Execution)
- Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops to extract functional and non-functional requirements.
- Documentation: Create high-quality User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Flowcharts, and BRDs (Business Requirement Documents).
- Backlog Refinement: Manage and groom the JIRA/Azure DevOps backlog, ensuring tasks are Ready for Dev.
- UAT (User Acceptance Testing): Validate that the developed features meet the business requirements before final release.

What You'll Do:
- Strategize: Own the product roadmap and prioritize the backlog to ensure high-value delivery.
- Translate: Turn vague stakeholder requests into crisp User Stories and clear Acceptance Criteria.
- Bridge: Communicate technical constraints (like Kafka streaming or OAuth flows) to non-technical stakeholders.
- Validate: Oversee UAT to ensure the Definition of Done actually meets business needs.
- Manage: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and manage stakeholder expectations (and approvals).
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in a BA or PM role within the software industry.
- Mastery of JIRA, Confluence, and wireframing tools.
- Strong understanding of APIs, Databases, and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional negotiation skillsyou know how to say no to a feature request gracefully.
