As a Product Manager in the API Marketplace team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the innovation and execution of new product offerings throughout the product lifecycle. Acting as the voice of the customer, you will drive the development of scalable, resilient, and customer-centric API products. Your leadership will shape the product roadmap, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions that create measurable value for clients and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the voice of the customer, advocating their needs across product development and strategic planning.
- Translate business requirements into clear epics and user stories, aligned with broader organizational goals.
- Prioritize initiatives using a structured framework to assess customer impact and business value.
- Define and maintain a forward-looking product roadmap in close collaboration with engineering, architecture, design, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and communicate a compelling product vision that delivers measurable client and enterprise value.
- Conduct discovery and market research to uncover user pain points, validate hypotheses, and inform product direction.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it supports delivery of roadmap objectives and key results.
- Define, track, and analyze key success metrics, including performance, cost, adoption, risk posture, and reliability.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- 5+ years of experience in product management with formal training or background in software engineering.
- Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, including ideation, discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration.
- Proven experience translating complex technical API concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated strength in data-driven decision-making, using metrics and feedback to refine product strategy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
- Experience in managing and driving products from concept through to successful launch and beyond.
