Job Description

About Delta Exchange India :

Delta Exchange India is one of India's leading crypto derivatives platforms, offering INR-settled futures and options on Bitcoin, Ethereum and other major cryptocurrencies on an FIU-registered platform. Built on a high-performance matching engine, institutional-grade APIs and a robust risk system, we serve a fast-growing community of active and algorithmic traders.

Automation is core to our product. Through our extensive Algo product offerings — including REST/WebSocket APIs, Webhooks, Algo Marketplace, the AI-powered API Copilot, and more — we are making algorithmic trading accessible to everyone — from quants and developers to first-time automated traders. The Algo business is one of our most important growth bets, and we're looking for a Product Manager to own and scale it.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Product Manager – Algo Business to own initiatives across the Algo trading lifecycle. This is a high-ownership role that sits at the intersection of trading, AI and product, and reports into product leadership. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our algo products — from APIs and developer tooling to new Algo initiatives. You'll work closely with engineering, design, quant, trading, growth and compliance teams to build products that help both retail and sophisticated traders automate their strategies, while deeply tracking how AI and algo trading are evolving globally and bringing the best of it to our users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify high-impact opportunities across the algo trading funnel — onboarding, strategy creation, backtesting, deployment, monitoring and performance.
  • Stay ahead of how AI and algorithmic trading are evolving (agentic tooling, AI copilots, no-code/low-code automation, quant infrastructure) and translate trends into a differentiated product bet.
  • Drive end-to-end execution: write crisp PRDs, define requirements, prioritise ruthlessly, and ship with engineering and design.
  • Own the API and developer experience — documentation, SDKs, API Copilot, testnet and reliability — to make Delta the easiest exchange to build on.
  • Build and improve AI-powered trading experiences (e.g. natural-language strategy creation, AI copilots, automation assistants) that lower the barrier to algo trading.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to evaluate and integrate emerging AI capabilities responsibly.
  • Define and track the metrics that matter for the new algo products that we launch.
  • Use data and direct user research to identify high-friction areas and drive systemic improvements. Partner with growth and marketing to drive adoption among traders, quants and developer communities.

Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of product management experience, ideally with consumer or platform products; experience in fintech, trading, broking, crypto or quant is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of AI and algorithmic/quant trading and a genuine point of view on how the space is evolving.
  • Strong technical fluency — comfortable working closely with engineers on APIs, latency, and trading infrastructure, and able to translate complex requirements into clear specs.
  • Excellent analytical and data skills; able to define metrics, run experiments and make decisions from data.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and structured, first-principles thinking with a process-first mindset.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Degree from a top-tier institute (e.g. IIT / NIT / BITS etc. or equivalent reputed institutions).

Good to Have :

  • Hands-on familiarity with trading APIs, bots, backtesting, or building/running trading strategies.
  • Experience shipping AI/LLM-powered features in a production product.
  • Active interest or personal trading experience in financial markets.
