Job Description

Your role as the product manager is both strategic and tactical. You need to be able to see and sell the big picture while keeping track of all the details, so the features are delivered on time and to specifications. You will take the solutions from conception to implementation and will serve as the product expert while working closely with customers, designers, UX, engineers, operations, sales, marketing, and business stakeholders around the world.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong enterprise background, who has razor-sharp instincts about what makes a great enterprise product, and who has a passion to make an industry-wide impact by driving projects from concept through implementation to successful delivery

Responsibilities

  • Your responsibilities will be end-to-end, from understanding the evolving agentic AI landscape, interacting with customers, capturing customer requirements, managing long-term and short-term product releases, and ultimately taking responsibility for successfully being market-aware and driving customer-oriented requirements.
  • Define and drive Avaamo's product strategy based on the Agentic AI landscape, competitive analysis, and customer needs.
  • Lead product definition, requirements analysis, documentation of requirements, and product positioning.
  • Work closely with leadership, development, and design teams to develop and maintain a product.
  • Validate product direction by interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Produce product collateral and messaging, and partner with sales and marketing to accelerate go-to-market.
  • Constantly evangelise the Agentic AI vision, plans, and product decisions so customers, partners, and stakeholders are aligned and have context.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; a master's is preferred.
  • 5+ years of product experience in enterprise software and at least 2 years of evangelising to the global 1000 customers.
  • Deep understanding of the needs of enterprise buyers and a solid understanding of conversational AI protocols, machine learning, and data science.
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles such as journey mapping, persona identification, pain statements, and user experience.
  • Good grasp and understanding of business applications and their APIs, middleware, and integration.
  • Background in machine learning and data mining, with a broad understanding of unsupervised and supervised learning methods, is a plus.
  • Collaborative, team-orientated, positive, and flexible attitude.
  • Proven experience with the full lifecycle of product releases, from planning, gathering requirements, and prioritisation to working with development for building the product and training sales.
  • Amazing communication skills to effectively evangelise the product and technology to both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach for solving complex business problems.
  • Collaboration and consensus-building skills.
