Role: Product Management Instructor (Part-Time, Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Product Management professional to design and deliver high-impact training. The instructor will own curriculum development, lead live and recorded sessions, mentor students, and ensure alignment with evolving industry practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and teach students/working professionals on in-demand Product Management skills through interactive, application-focused learning.
- Deliver highly engaging online lectures aligned with Syntax's teaching methodology to ensure consistency and impact.
- Teach core product management practices: product lifecycle, MVP development, market and user research, competitor analysis, product roadmap creation, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop structured curriculum, real-world case studies, assignments, and capstone projects using tools like Jira, Figma, Trello, and analytics platforms.
- Continuously innovate content delivery with cutting-edge materials to keep learning experiences fresh, engaging, and relevance such as assignments and worksheets for homework
- Mentor and coach students through hands-on activities, providing actionable feedback and guidance on real-world product challenges.
- Share expertise in Agile and Scrum, product-market fit, A/B testing, user personas, and prioritization techniques (MoSCoW, RICE).
- Evaluate student projects such as pitches, research reports, and roadmaps, offering insights to strengthen product thinking and execution.
- Organize training around project management workflows, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication methods.
- Create curriculum with developers and industry practitioners to align courses with hiring standards and evolving market trends.
- Continuously refine delivery techniques to ensure students experience world-class learning outcomes.
- Stay updated on user-centered design practices, product innovations, and industry best practices to maintain course relevance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience across product management disciplines: strategy, research, lifecycle management, and product execution.
- Strong teaching, training, or coaching background, preferably with online delivery to working professionals.
- Ability to design and deliver innovative, learner-centric content with measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with emphasis on interactivity and clarity.
- Proficiency with modern product management tools and collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
