Role Overview

We are hiring 4 Ortems (Delmia) Production Scheduling Consultants to join our team on an immediate-joining basis. This is a full-time, paid position based in [City, State/Country].

This role is responsible for the hands-on implementation, configuration, and support of the Delmia Ortems suite — Production Scheduler, Manufacturing Planner, and Synchronised Resource Planner — to deliver advanced planning and scheduling solutions for manufacturing clients, including integration with SAP and MES platforms.

You will work closely with production planners, business analysts, and IT teams to translate operational requirements into configured, working scheduling solutions, and to keep those systems running reliably once they're live.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Ortems development and configuration experience, understands manufacturing planning and scheduling processes, and is comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Implementation and Configuration

• Implement and configure Delmia Ortems modules, including Production Scheduler, Manufacturing Planner, and Synchronised Resource Planner
• Configure and customize the Visual Interface Configurator to meet client requirements
• Customize planning and scheduling rules to align with client business needs

Technical Development and Integration

• Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and data interfaces using Ortems APIs and scripting languages
• Integrate Ortems with SAP and MES platforms (e.g., Apriso)
• Translate business requirements provided by analysts and planners into technical solutions

Support and Documentation

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration errors
• Provide technical support, documentation, and end-user training
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of configurations, customizations, and known issues for internal and client reference
• Participate in status meetings with clients and internal teams to communicate progress, risks, and open issues

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Ortems development and configuration
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, or supply chain operations
• Exposure to enterprise integrations and middleware tools
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
