Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly driven
PL HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives for the Insulation & Components Business across the HUB. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, driving safety culture, and supporting factories in achieving HSE KPIs.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Drive HSE compliance aligned with Hitachi Energy Management System & ISO standards
- Work closely with factory leadership (Factory Manager, Production Manager, HSE teams)
- Conduct weekly governance calls with business units for compliance tracking
- Lead risk assessments, Lifesaving Rules compliance, and safety audits
- Implement and monitor machine safety standards across factories
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring corrective actions
- Manage non-conformities (NCs) and ensure timely closure
- Deliver mandatory HSE training and lead PICW (Person-in-Charge of Work) programs
- Prepare MIS reports, documentation, and audit records
- Support decision-making on safety-critical controls
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

The background
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical / chemical (Process) Engineering or related field
- NEBOSH IGC Certification (Mandatory)
- 15+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing / transformer / industrial environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, ISO standards, and risk management
- Experience in safety audits, incident investigation & machine safety
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
