Job Description

We are a fast-growing operating business building internal software to run our own operations better—reporting, visibility, process control, and execution tracking.

This is not a SaaS-for-the-world product. These are real internal tools, used daily by teams that care about speed, accuracy, and reliability. The founder is hands-on with ideation and problem-solving. What we are building now needs structure, clarity, and disciplined execution so ideas turn into usable software without chaos.

Role Purpose

Own the translation of founder-led ideas into clear product documentation and executable plans, and ensure a junior development team ships internal software correctly and efficiently.

This role sits between vision and code.

Core Responsibilities

1. Idea Clarity

  • Work directly with the founder to shape raw ideas into:
  • Problem statements
  • User and system flows
  • Feature scope, priorities, and exclusions
  • Identify assumptions, edge cases, and trade-offs early

2. Documentation Ownership

  • Create and maintain:
  • PRD-lite documents (1–3 pages per feature)
  • Functional requirements
  • Acceptance criteria
  • Ensure documentation is unambiguous and executable by freshers

3. Task Breakdown & Planning

  • Break features into:
  • Developer-ready tasks
  • Clear milestones and dependencies
  • Maintain execution boards (Notion / Jira or equivalent)
  • Define done before development starts

4. Development Guidance

  • Guide junior developers on intent, scope, and priorities
  • Review work-in-progress to prevent drift and rework
  • Resolve requirement and logic gaps quickly

5. Quality & Alignment

  • Validate outputs against original product intent
  • Push back on incorrect or incomplete implementations
  • Balance speed with correctness
