Product Integrity / Testing & Compliance Manager – Apparel
Location: India
Work Mode: Remote
Covers EST Hours: 9am to 6pm
Working Hours: 6.30 PM-3:30 AM IST / 7.30pm-4.30 IST (Day Light Savings)

This role will be responsible for managing apparel product testing, regulatory compliance, third-party laboratory coordination, certification documentation, and children's product safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
What you will do
• Maintain comprehensive testing protocols for apparel products, including physical, chemical, and performance testing.
• Manage third-party laboratory relationships to ensure timely and accurate testing results.
• Review test reports and provide disposition for failures, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, certifications such as GRS/RCS, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure products comply with applicable global regulations, including CPSIA, REACH, and California Proposition 65.
• Perform regulatory and safety reviews for children's products each season, ensuring alignment with applicable industry standards.
• Stay current with AATCC, ASTM, and ISO standards and integrate relevant updates into testing procedures.
• Partner with Design, Technical Design, Production, and Sourcing teams on product reviews and align testing timelines with development and bulk shipment schedules.
• Support vendor onboarding and training on testing requirements, standards, and compliance expectations.
• Attend PO handoff meetings and calls with licensors and retail partners as required.
You are the right fit if
• Hands-on experience in apparel product testing, product integrity, quality, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of physical, chemical, and performance testing requirements for apparel products.
• Practical understanding of CPSIA, REACH, Proposition 65, and relevant AATCC, ASTM, and ISO standards.
• Experience reviewing laboratory test reports, handling failures, conducting root cause analysis, and coordinating corrective actions.
• Experience managing third-party testing laboratories and maintaining testing and certification documentation.
• Knowledge of GRS/RCS certifications and related compliance records.
• Children's product safety and testing experience is mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Design, Technical Design, Production, Sourcing, vendors, licensors, and retail partners.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
