For our Technical Compliance Management System (TCMS) we are looking for an On-board Diagnostic Compliance Manager (m/f/d) in Projects to ensure Legal Technical Regulations and standards (LTR) for On-board Diagnostics (OBD) are correctly implemented into Schaeffler products. The On-board Diagnostic Compliance Manager (m/f/d) belongs to the Sustainability & Technical Compliance organization within Schaeffler eMobility R&D.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for On-board Diagnostics (OBD) in projects for hybrid and electric vehicles
- Definition of generic as well as project specific On-board Diagnostic concepts for our products developed in the Tech Clusters based on customer requirements and Legal Technical Regulations in regards of OBD and related Norms as well as Standards
- Coordination and tracking of OBD related process steps and release of work products plus OBD final series approval for start of production
- Central coordination role in the involved projects for engineering disciplines system engineering, software development and testing
- Customer communication with respect to OBD relevant topics
Your Qualifications
- Completed degree in a technical field of study (e.g., electric drives, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle technology or similar)
- 6 to 8 years long term professional experience in the automotive industry and preferably in the supplier business
- Expert knowledge of Regulations for On-board Diagnostics (OBD) / Emissions for India, Korea, Japan & European markets is a plus
- Experience of Diagnostic development strategies and content is preferred
- Business fluency in English language mandatory
- Advanced communication skills for collaboration within international organizational structures, as well as advanced team working, and networking skills needed
- Service spirit as a supplier towards OEM customers is needed
