As we scale globally, India will become a core hub for Product Engineering, focused on building and scaling the core MarketCrunch AI product. This role is our first Product Engineering hire in India, making it a foundational opportunity.
About the Role
We're looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial, full-stack Product Engineer who wants to build polished consumer-facing experiences end-to-end and grow into a leadership role in a fast-scaling startup.
This role sits within Product Engineering the team responsible for building, improving, and scaling the core MarketCrunch AI product that users interact with daily.
You will:
- Build core features for a global audience
- Own significant surfaces across web and mobile
- Work directly with founders on product direction
- Set the foundation for our India Product Engineering presence
What You'll Do
Build Exceptional Consumer Experiences
- Develop user-facing flows across React (web) and React Native / Flutter / Expo (mobile)
- Improve usability, speed, and polish of the existing MarketCrunch AI app
- Build the foundational architecture for the next-generation mobile experience
- Implement dashboards, alerts, watchlists, and interactive stock visualizations
Own Product Engineering End-to-End
- Translate product ideas into elegant, production-grade features
- Integrate backend/ML outputs, APIs, and real-time data streams
- Build reusable components, scalable UI patterns, and intuitive interactions
- Drive performance, reliability, and craftsmanship across the product
Shape the Future of Product Engineering in India
- Help establish India as a center of excellence for Product Engineering
- Influence technical direction, tooling, and best practices
- Grow into a senior leadership role as the team expands over time
Requirements
- B.Tech/M.Tech from leading Indian engineering institutions (IITs, NITs, BITS, IIITs, or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience building production-grade consumer web/mobile products
- Strong expertise in: React + TypeScript/React Native / Flutter / Expo or similar frameworks
- Track record of shipping polished consumer experiences end-to-end
- Strong design and UX instinctsattention to detail, motion, layout, clarity
- Comfortable across frontend + light backend (Node.js or Python)
- High ownership, creative problem-solving, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Passion for building fast, intuitive, world-class consumer products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-scale consumer domains (social, travel, gaming, content, etc.)
- Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, Next.js, or serverless architectures
- Experience with visualizations (Recharts, D3, Victory)
- Exposure to fintech, trading, or real-time data interfaces
