Product Engineer

Job description

• Work closely with designers and engineers to turn product ideas into specific plans for manufacturing.
• Develop clear, concise, and easy-to-understand work instructions for the production team.
• Break down complex tasks into smaller, manageable steps that are suitable for unskilled workers.
• Procure high-quality materials and components that meet design requirements and budget constraints.
• Oversee the production process on-site, providing real-time guidance and support to the team.
• Identify and troubleshoot any production issues promptly and implement corrective actions to minimizing waste.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all production activities and quality control measures.
• Conduct quality checks at various stages of the production process and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and address any quality issues.
• Stay informed about the latest manufacturing technologies and techniques, seeking opportunities to improve production efficiency and quality.

Desire candidate profile:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in product engineering, preferably with exposure to working with production teams.
• Proficiency in CAD software and basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to develop clear, concise, and easy-to-understand work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Qualification: Diploma/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
