Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse engineering and manufacturing test data to derive yield insights.
- Investigate yield Pareto, identify root causes, drive debug and solutions.
Characterisation (End‑to‑End)
- Plan and execute IP/product characterisation:
- Develop test programs with test engineers.
- Validate and debug test content.
- Collect data on typical and corner samples; enable sampling on volume units.
- Analyse characterisation data to understand performance sensitivities across voltage/frequency/temperature/process.
- Prepare detailed characterisation reports.
Collaboration & Optimisation
- Work with test engineers on yield/reliability fallouts.
- Optimise test conditions (voltage/frequency) based on sensitivity analysis.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 4–5 years in a relevant role, with CPU/GPU product or IP test background.
- Test IP Knowledge: Hands‑on experience with Scan, MBIST, Functional, Analog‑mixed signals, High‑Speed I/O, and DFT concepts.
- Specific Test Items: Familiar with most of the following – Scan, Ethernet, Fuse, IOSPEC, JTAG, MBIST, DDR, PCIE, PLL, RESET, Ring Oscillator, Static/Dynamic IDD, High‑Voltage Stress, Thermal, xGMI, Functional.
- Manufacturing: Proven experience working with OSAT for production test bring‑up and post‑manufacturing support.
- Data Analysis: Strong statistical data analysis skills.
- Programming & OS: Proficient in Unix and Windows; scripting skills in Java, Perl, or Python.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving, self‑motivated, independent, strong communication and teamwork.
