Job Overview

This Product Engineer / Lead will drive new product development from design through high-volume production, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure validation, yield, and manufacturing readiness. The role requires strong statistical analysis, test and failure-analysis collaboration, and development of efficient manufacturing tests to meet quality standards in the semiconductor industry. What you'll do

• Lead product development from design iterations through customer sampling to production release.
• Manage timelines, performance data, and compliance matrices across design optimization cycles.
• Use statistical tools to calculate CPK, identify outliers, and define limits and guard bands.
• Support first-silicon debug, yield improvements, and test-time reduction with design/test teams.
• Run cross-functional meetings across time zones to align project milestones and actions.
• Manage customer returns and RMA processes, driving timely investigation and closure.
• Define validation requirements with design, DFT, and test teams to translate concepts into tests.
• Collaborate with test engineers to develop efficient ATE manufacturing tests for mass production.
• Drive manufacturing readiness with engineering and operations for successful MP handoff.
• Participate in yield analysis and implement process or test optimizations to meet targets.
• Work with reliability teams to meet JEDEC and AEC-Q100 qualification requirements.
• Support failure analysis and resolution for returned or field-issue devices.

Who you are

• Degree holder in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experienced with CMOS ASIC design, test, foundry interactions, and production teams.
• Proven capability taking ASICs from concept through mass production and end-of-life.
• Proficient in statistical data analysis and tools like Excel VBA, Spotfire, O+, JMP, Galaxy.
• Familiar with ATE testers; V93K experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experienced in product coordination, yield improvement, and test-time reduction initiatives.
• Knowledgeable in semiconductor quality, automotive process control, and qualification standards.
• Hands-on with wafer and package characterization and production data collection.
• Comfortable working on production test floors with bench instruments, ATE, probers, handlers.
