About The ART
We are starting a New ART for Product Backporting. Today Temenos maintenance solutions, covering defects and relevant technical debt changes, that are fixed in the latest release, are patched into older releases based on clients raising the request.
With the widespread usage of Temenos products across releases from R21 to R25 a proactive approach to make these changes available older releases will help reduce the inflow and make sure existing clients benefit from our latest defect fixes and technical debts.
We are looking for engineers for our Product Backport ART.
The candidates should be able to analyze issues, develop fixes, handle security vulnerabilities, and ensure stability, performance and reliability of released products using AI based tooling and should manage the AI models created for Temenos product-based programming .
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and troubleshoot Defects and Improvement Areas across products
- Identify RCA, Design, develop, and test fixes
- Address security vulnerabilities and dependency updates
- Collaborate with QA Lead to ensure regression coverage and quality validation
- Create / Update documentation, release notes where applicable.
- Use AI Tools for day-to-day activities like development, integration and testing across releases and maintain the models
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- 2 to 8 years of experience in software development
- Good programming skills in Java with Spring and Sprint Boot, Angular / React JS, CSS, HTML, C/C++ .
- Knowledge of JBC will be an added advantage
- Experience using any RDBMS
- Experience with debugging systems and troubleshooting issues
- Understanding version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release processes
- Experience in Temenos Cloud is an added advantage
