Responsibilities
- Own, build, and maintain end-to-end implementation of product features, handling both frontend and backend components.
- Work with designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to process large data sets seamlessly.
- Design and scale services that power the Sundial Analytics Data Model and cloud-based Data Platform.
- Build secure, scalable APIs and applications, ensuring data protection for sensitive customer information.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, low-ego environment with a deep sense of ownership and a growth mindset.
Requirements
- Proficiency in building and owning full-stack web application features with a strong focus on delivering a delightful user experience.
- Experience building backend platforms, distributed systems, and services for SaaS products, including data-centric and event-driven architectures.
- Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Go, and SQL, and backend infrastructure including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in designing and integrating GraphQL or RESTful APIs for data-intensive applications.
- Familiarity with AWS services, analytics, and big data systems like Trino and Spark.
- Background in building distributed systems and data platforms for analytics and data science.
