Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Director based in Singapore to own product strategy for our enterprise customers across Singapore and Southeast Asia. Working closely with the founding team and in partnership with our business team, you will define how our product wins in the market and drive product-market fit — starting hands-on as a player-coach with strategic customers, then building out the product team as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap priorities, and product-market fit for our enterprise customers, including positioning against global and local competitors.

• Identify the verticals, use cases, and partner ecosystems where Singdata should invest; make build/buy/partner recommendations.

• Translate market and customer insight into roadmap decisions, working closely with engineering and product teams to drive design, release planning, and delivery.

• Lead executive-level engagement with enterprise CTOs/CDOs on data architecture and platform strategy.

• Partner with the business team to jointly own customer success — from POC through production adoption, value realization, and expansion — and turn what makes customers successful into repeatable product capabilities.

• Build Singdata's product presence through industry events, technical content, and thought leadership.

• Build and mentor the product team; drive alignment and make prioritization calls across sales, solutions, and engineering.

Requirements

• 8+ years in B2B data platforms, cloud services, databases, BI, or enterprise AI infrastructure, including 3+ years in senior product leadership.

• Proven track record of taking enterprise products from 0 to 1 and scaling them, with demonstrable business impact.

• Deep knowledge of modern data architecture (SQL, data warehousing, Lakehouse, ETL/ELT, real-time computing, cloud platforms) — enough to hold your own with enterprise CTOs.

• Executive-level communication skills across customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.

• Professional English required; professional Mandarin strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience building a product function from the ground up, or supporting enterprise customers in Singapore or Southeast Asia.

• Hands-on background with database engines, compute engines, streaming, or AI/agent platforms.

• Existing network among data and platform leaders in SEA enterprises.
