Role Overview
Toprankers is hiring a Product Director Communications to own and elevate our brand narrative across digital platforms. This role is designed for a high-impact communications leader with 48 years of experience who has already driven visible shifts in brand storytelling, social media presence, and content outcomes in fast-growing companies.
You will be responsible for transforming social media from a posting function into a strategic brand and growth lever.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Positioning & Narrative
Define and refine Toprankers brand positioning, voice, and communication framework.
Lead narrative-building that strengthens brand authority, trust, and recall.
Ensure consistency of messaging across all consumer-facing touchpoints.
Social Media Strategy & Scale
Own end-to-end social media strategy across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels.
Build platform-specific content strategies driven by audience insight and performance.
Track success beyond vanity metricsengagement depth, funnel contribution, and brand impact.
Content Strategy & IP Building
Conceptualise and scale distinctive content IPs, series, and campaigns.
Partner with academic, product, and leadership teams to convert domain expertise into compelling content.
Oversee formats including short-form video, long-form video, live sessions, and thought leadership content.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and grow a content and social media team (in-house + agencies).
Work closely with Growth, Product, Academic, and Founders Office teams.
Act as final reviewer for brand communication and public messaging.
Ideal Candidate Profile
48 years of experience in social media leadership, brand communications, or content strategy.
Clear examples of uplifting or changing a brand's social media narrative.
Experience working with consumer internet, edtech, media-first companies, startups, or scaled digital brands.
Strong storytelling instincts with data-backed decision-making.
Comfortable with ownership, fast execution, and ambiguity.
Willing to work on-site in Bhopal.
