Product Development Specialist

Job Title: Segment Head

Department: Technology

Location: Surat

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product development initiatives for assigned segment from concept to commercialization
• Develop new products in dyeing, printing, and coating applications
• Conduct trials, lab development, pilot runs, and scale-up in production
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and customers for new product requirements
• Evaluate raw materials, chemicals, and processes for performance and cost optimization
• Drive innovation to enhance product performance, sustainability, and efficiency
• Provide technical support to production team during commercialization
• Coordinate with quality team for product validation and approvals
• Monitor competitor products and market trends for new development opportunities
• Maintain documentation of formulations, trials, and development reports
• Handle customer technical discussions and product presentations
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements
• Lead and mentor junior product development team members

Education & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: M.Tech – Textile Chemistry / Textile Technology / related field
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in Product Development roles
• Must have hands-on experience in dyeing, printing, and coating technologies
• Experience in technical textile / coated fabric / specialty textile preferred
• Experience in lab-to-bulk scale-up development
