Job Description

Lead end-to-end product development of mechanical power transmission products from concept design, engineering, validation, and launch.
Drive design optimization of disc/flexible couplings considering torque transmission, misalignment, fatigue life, and high-speed applications.
Perform engineering analysis including FEA, stress analysis, fatigue studies, material selection, and product performance validation.
Manage R&D testing activities, prototype development, laboratory validation, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and commercial teams on DFM, cost optimization, technical support, and product improvements.
Maintain engineering documentation, compliance requirements, and product standards including API, AGMA, and ISO guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development, preferably within couplings, gears, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery. The individual should have strong experience in CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo/CATIA), FEA tools (ANSYS/Abaqus), mechanical testing, validation protocols, and product lifecycle management. Exposure to high-speed rotating equipment, fatigue analysis, API/AGMA standards, and leading engineering/R&D teams will be preferred.
