Purpose:
The jobholder will primarily be responsible for supporting the product development initiative of the organisation in conjunction with the Head Product Development
Context
He/ She will work closely with the marketing team, Actuarial team, Ops team, IT and the designate Sales channels to help design innovative and flexible products for the Company.
Main Priorities:
- Conduct competition benchmarking and create a competition library
- Involve in complete life cycle of product development from preparing Draft Product Specs to getting the product live on all systems/peripherals
- Create sales stories/combo solutions and publish product cracks; engage with the training team to disseminate information
- Analysis of sales, identify improvement areas and pockets of excellence, disseminate information to the distribution team in a structured manner
- Execute the distribution engagement initiative; regular interaction with FOS for feedback on products, marketing collateral and work to implement feedback
- Create content and review marketing collateral
- Maintain all regulatory requirements/hygiene
Qualifications:
Minimum Graduate with 4-6 years of experience in life insurance industry. Preferably with experience in products
Skills/ Knowledge:
- Strong analytical & numerate skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong market awareness
- Should be well versed with product regulations
- Hands-on experience of Life Asia
Experience:
- Relevant experience in areas of product management
- Exposure to a broad range of insurance products, have a strong understanding of the insurance industry in India
- You should enjoy working independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
