Job Title: Product Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to support and optimize an organization's contingent workforce ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the development, enhancement, and optimization of SAP Fieldglass and other integrated first-party tools used to manage vendor and workforce operations.
You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and technical delivery teams, ensuring the Vendor Management System (VMS) platform is scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs. This role requires strong product management expertise, technical understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Strategy
- Lead the product development lifecycle for SAP Fieldglass and related internal tools.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements to drive product enhancements and improvements.
- Define product strategies to ensure the VMS platform effectively supports workforce management processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Fieldglass and the extended workforce tools ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business teams, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and engineering partners to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align expectations and outcomes.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design and oversee testing strategies, pilot programs, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Identify system issues, collect testing evidence, and work closely with developers to resolve bugs.
- Ensure system updates and enhancements meet business requirements before release.
Issue Management & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor systems to identify bugs, inefficiencies, or performance issues.
- Lead escalation processes and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
- Drive continuous product improvements and ensure platform reliability and scalability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in product development or product management, including requirements gathering and implementation.
- Experience in software testing, UAT, or pilot program management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and measure product performance.
- Experience managing third-party vendors or consulting partners such as MSPs.
- Understanding of API integrations or middleware connecting internal tools with SaaS platforms.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively detect and resolve system issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SAP Fieldglass or similar Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
