Job Description

Job Title: Product Lead Development

Location: Mumbai (Pan India role)

Experience: 10+ years

Reporting To: Chief Development Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Product Lead Development to lead the development and scaling of our hospitality brand Nivsa across key Indian markets. This role will be responsible for building a sustainable product vertical with full P&L ownership, driving supply growth, and creating a replicable, scalable model across markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Structuring

Define and structure the product alongside the CDO and Founders

Build a replicable product model across markets.

Build the Nivsa brand out that focusses on the studio, 1 and 2 Bedroom formats across key Tier 1, 2 and religious high footfall destinations.

2. Market Expansion & Growth

Drive pan-India expansion across priority markets (Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, NCR, Vrindavan, Nashik, etc.).

Focus on leisure, medical, and *religious* tourism-led locations.

Develop strong relationships with key developers and landlords in priority locations.

3. P&L Ownership

Full P&L ownership for the product vertical.

Build sustainable unit economics and ensure capital commitment feasibility.

Structure commercial models (management contracts, leases, revenue share, etc.).

Lead negotiations and closure of contracts.

4. Supply & Business Delivery

Oversee growth through supply acquisition aligned with business deliverables.

Work closely with the *distribution*, marketing and *operations* teams to drive performance.

Ensure strong footfall and occupancy performance.

Extend and build the product vertical with a clear profitability roadmap.

5. Development & Execution

End-to-end product lifecycle ownership, including last-mile launch efforts.

Work closely with landlords, developers, and vendors across development stages.

Ensure projects are scalable and deliver sustainable performance.

6. Team Leadership

Build and lead a high-performance team as the product portfolio scales.

Ensure smooth scaling of projects and operational excellence.

Candidate Profile

10+ years of experience in hospitality, real estate development, or product-led growth roles.

Strong experience working with landlords, developers, and vendors.

Proven track record of scaling projects and managing P&L.

Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.

Experience in structuring management contracts, leases, and capital-right models.

Deep understanding of key Indian hospitality markets and location dynamics.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (distribution, marketing, operations).
