Vansera Labs Private Limited is an early-stage fintech startup building the next generation of wealth and investing products for salaried professionals, entrepreneurs, family offices.

We're a small, fast-moving team that ships quickly, learns from real users, and cares deeply about making investing simpler, smarter, and more accessible. As one of our earliest hires, you'll have an outsized impact on the product and the company.

The role

We're looking for a Product Development Intern who loves to build and who understands that building well starts with breaking things on purpose. You'll begin with a heavy focus on testing and quality: putting our product through its paces, hunting down bugs, and making sure every feature behaves the way it should before it reaches real users.

As you get to know the product and codebase, you'll gradually take on more writing code, prototyping, and helping shape product decisions alongside our engineers.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and a clear growth path: start by mastering the product through testing, then grow into building it. You won't be fetching coffee or shadowing from the sidelines you'll be in the room where product gets made.

In your first few months (testing-focused):

1. Test our product thoroughly new features, edge cases, and the money-critical flows where accuracy is everything.
2. Write clear, reproducible bug reports and work with engineers to get issues fixed.
3. Build and run test cases and checklists; help us catch problems before users do.
4. Learn how the product and codebase fit together by seeing it from every angle.
5. Validate that features match the spec and solve the user's problem.

As you grow into the role (building-focused):

1. Write and ship product features alongside our engineering team.
2. Turn rough ideas and user feedback into specs, mockups, and working prototypes.
3. Help automate testing and improve how we ship quality software.
4. Work with real financial data and third-party APIs (market data, KYC, payments, brokerage/depository integrations).
5. Talk to users, track metrics, and help define and prioritize the roadmap.

What we're looking for

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Design, or a related field or a self-taught builder who can show us what you've made.
2. Knowledge about fintech, equity markets, and investing, you don't need prior finance experience, just a willingness to learn fast.
3. A sharp eye for detail and a knack for finding the one thing that's broken, you're the person who notices when something feels off.
4. Patience and rigor: you're happy to test the same flow ten different ways to be sure it's right.
5. Some coding ability in at least one modern language/stack (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, React, or similar) enough to grow into writing features over time. You don't need to be an expert; you need to be resourceful.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a small team.
