Product Development Engineer

Position: Product Development Dry Coolers / Air Fin Coolers (AFC) Department: Research & Development Location: Chennai / Mumbai Experience: 10+ years in Dry Cooler / Air-Cooled Heat Exchanger product design & development from reputed HVAC / ACHE manufacturers. Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Chemical Engineering Number of Positions : 01 Preferred: M.Tech Thermal / Heat Transfer / Refrigeration / HVAC Reporting to: Head R&D

Key Responsibilities

Thermal performance Calculations for dry Coolers/AFC including fan selections and flow analysis Mechanical Design and Structural study of Equipment. Development of standard design procedures and tool. Development of high-eiciency models, and customized variants. CFD / Airflow simulation for optimizing performance, noise reduction, vibration control and air distribution. Prototype building and experimental performance testing. Preparation and review of engineering drawings, BOM, technical datasheets, testing reports & documentation Cross-functional coordination with other Departments. Support customer discussions, site issues & troubleshooting

Required Technical Skills Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics & airflow systems Hands-on experience with HTRI / Coil selection software / Fan performance analysis CFD tools knowledge (ANSYS or equivalent) preferred Familiarity with international Codes & standards for Dry coolers / AFC. Experience in prototype testing & validation.
