- Phenom People is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Engineer II - Backend to join our growing team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. As a Product Development Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new features and functionalities for our backend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our products
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with database design and management, preferably with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of web services and API development
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Passion for learning and staying updated with new technologies
Additional Parameters:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Work Experience
What you've done
- 1 - 3 years of Software Development experience in Core Java, MongoDB, Algorithm, Data Structures, Design Patterns.,
- Strong experience with Micro services and distributed systems.
- Experience in defining architecture and leading teams in design & development
- Experience with Cloud (AWS and Azure) deployments
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Engineering Graduates / Post-Graduates from premier institutions are preferred. Graduates from IIT, BITS, & NIT are preferred.
- More than 5 - 8 years of hands on product engineering experience
