We are on the hunt for a seasoned UI/UX Designer with a keen eye for detail and a robust portfolio of designs that are not just visually appealing but also user-centric and intuitive. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products, ensuring they are both functional and delightful. Your expertise will transform complex tasks into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs for millions of people around the worldfrom the first-time user to the sophisticated expert. We are seeking a designer who is passionate about delivering both visually appealing and functionally effective design solutions, and who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced startup environment.
What will you do (but not limited to)
- Design and refine user interfaces for our digital products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to gather insights and translate them into design decisions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Who can apply
- Minimum of three years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with proven UI/UX design experience and a strong portfolio of design projects, including products that are live in the market.
- Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- A degree in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate your design decisions and how they relate to the product's vision.
