Responsibilities
- Lead the design of intuitive, end-to-end product experiences from big-vision initiatives to incremental improvements.
- Drive projects as an individual contributor: concept, design, prototyping, development, launch, and iteration.
- Champion design quality standards while shaping a forward-looking product vision.
- Leverage AI tools and workflows to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and solutioning, ensuring design impact scales beyond team size.
- Elevate design org visibility through clear communication, documentation, and best practices.
- Mentor and motivate teammates, providing actionable feedback and raising the overall design bar.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional peers, learning from and contributing to a team of industry veterans.
- Lead customer and user research initiatives, translating insights into actionable design improvements.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and critiques that drive alignment and creativity.
- Approach solutions with a metrics-driven mindset, balancing KPIs, customer value, and business outcomes.
- Act as a brand steward, ensuring our story and values are consistently represented across the customer journey.
- Contribute to the broader design community and company culture through presentations, blog posts, speaking, and recruiting.
Requirements
- Proven track record designing and shipping complex B2B SaaS and fintech products, with a portfolio demonstrating depth in solving enterprise-scale problems.
- Mastery of user-centered design principles, research methods, and product strategy.
- Exceptional interaction, visual, and motion design skills across web and mobile platforms.
- Extensive experience building and scaling design systems; fluent in modern design/prototyping tools with a proven ability to leverage AI workflows for outsized impact.
- Skilled communicator and collaborator, effective at aligning cross-functional teams and influencing product direction.
- Experienced in data visualization and analytics design; motion design expertise is a plus.
- Comfortable thriving in agile, fast-paced environments while elevating design standards and practices.
Requisitions
- Experience in designing B2B SaaS desktop application design in the fintech domain.
- Product design experience and not brand design.
- Must be comfortable using tools like Loveable and show excellent examples.
- Design education is a plus.
