Looking for a Freelance Product Designer / Product Innovation Designer

Koodai by Saras is looking for someone who can help us explore what else we can create with our craft.

We are looking beyond our existing collection and want to experiment with new products, forms, materials and applications while staying rooted in the craft and the people who make it.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Think conceptually and creatively

• Develop new physical products

• Understand materials and manufacturing

• Work closely with artisans and production teams

• Take an idea from sketch → prototype → production

• Balance creativity with commercial and production realities

You could be from Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion & Accessories, Craft Design or a related field.

Your portfolio matters more than your degree.

This is initially a freelance / project-based engagement, with the possibility of a longer-term association if we are a good fit.

Coimbatore preferred, but open to the right person elsewhere.
