About the Role:
We are hiring a Product Designer to take ownership of end-to-end product design for Lucio's AI- powered SaaS platform. This role focuses on designing intuitive, scalable, and high-impact web products used by legal professionals globally. You will work closely with the Head of Design, product managers, engineers, and other designers
(UI/UX, graphic, and web) to shape user experiences across the product. This role requires strong product thinking, hands-on design execution, and the ability to translate complex AI-driven workflows into simple, elegant user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end product design across key workflows, features, and user journeys.
- Work with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into intuitive design solutions.
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web-based SaaS products.
- Partner with UI/UX, graphic, and website designers to ensure visual and experiential consistency.
- Design interfaces for AI-driven features, data-heavy workflows, and complex document interactions.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Design to define design direction, patterns, and best practices.
- Conduct design explorations, iterations, and refinements based on feedback and usability insights.
- Ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with technical constraints.
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, components, and documentation.
- Review implemented designs and work with engineers to ensure high-quality execution.
Requirements:
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Product Designer working on SaaS or web-based products.
- Prior experience designing B2B SaaS, AI, or tech-first products is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related fields (e.g., B.Des, M.Des, or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, design systems, prototyping).
- Experience with common design tools and workflows (wireframing, prototyping, handoff).
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
- Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing product thinking, problem-solving, and shipped work.
