Globeia helps people and businesses get through the parts of moving across borders that nobody enjoys. A confusing form or unclear status update doesn't just frustrate someone. It can delay their visa, their job offer, or their degree.

The Role

We're looking for a UX Designer who actually enjoys hard, messy problems, not someone who wants a clean brief and a style guide handed to them. You'll take some of the most convoluted, regulation heavy workflows out there (think multi country background check pipelines, document chain of custody, status tracking across jurisdictions) and turn them into something that feels almost effortless to use.

This role owns UX end to end: research, IA, wireframes, prototyping, high fidelity design, and dev handoff, across both our product dashboards and our marketing surfaces. You'll work closely with product, marketing, and growth, but you won't be sitting around waiting for a roadmap to tell you what to design. We want someone who looks at a workflow, asks why it's built that way, and proposes something better before anyone has to ask.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Redesigning complex, multi step compliance journeys into something a first time user can complete without confusion or anxiety
• Owning UX from early research all the way through shipped, polished product, across web and mobile
• Running user research and usability testing, and using what you learn to challenge assumptions rather than just confirm them
• Building a design system that scales as we expand into new countries and services
• Partnering closely with engineering so what ships actually matches what you designed
• Bringing ideas to the table that nobody asked for, because you saw a better way to solve it

What We Need

• 4 to 5+ years designing complex web apps, SaaS, or workflow heavy products
• Expert level Figma (systems, components, prototyping)
• Sharp instincts for UX, information architecture, and interaction design
• Real experience running research and testing, and using data to make decisions
• Mobile first, responsive design chops with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility knowledge
• Comfort owning ambiguous problems without someone handing you the answer

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated industries or data dense dashboards
• B2B SaaS or enterprise product background
• Fluency in a major design system (Material, Apple HIG, Carbon)
• An eye for motion design and micro interactions
