About the Role
Epoch Media Group is looking for a Product / Design Systems Designer to own and scale our Web + App Design System.
This is a critical role focused on building and maintaining a single source of truth for design and development. Youll work closely with Product Designers and Engineers to create scalable, production-ready components that ship faster and stay consistent across platforms.

What Youll Do
- Own and maintain the Design System across Web and App platforms
- Build and evolve reusable components, patterns, and foundations
- Partner closely with Engineering to ensure Figma components map cleanly to code
- Define clear component standards: props, variants, states, naming conventions
- Document usage guidelines, best practices, and implementation notes
- Audit existing components and improve system consistency
- Support rollout, adoption, and governance of the Design System across teams
- Collaborate with Product Designers to ensure consistent implementation
- Support QA and help resolve design-system-related implementation issues
What Were Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Product / UX Design
- Hands-on experience owning or maintaining a Design System
- Strong expertise in Figma (components, variables, libraries)
- Proven experience collaborating directly with Engineers
- Comfortable working with complex, component-based systems
- Clear communicator with a practical, structured approach
Nice to Have
- Experience working on both Web and Mobile design systems
- Familiarity with Storybook or similar design-system tooling
- Exposure to design-to-code workflows and system documentation
